1. PRODUCT
1.1 FUNCTION
Applied permanent protective coating for ceramic and porcelain tiles & grout and other vitreous surfaces to reduce maintenance and cleaning and eliminate staining.
1.2 DESCRIPTION
EnduroShield for Tiles & Grout uses advanced nano technology to give an invisible protective shield that chemically reacts with the vitreous surface to produce a permanent bond. The hydrophobic and oleophobic nature of the EnduroShield coating repels both water and oil containing grime making cleaning easier and less regular. EnduroShield unlike straight silicone coatings protects against both oil and water based contaminants not just water based.
3 PERFORMANCE
3.1 Permanency
Chemically reacts with the vitreous surface to produce a permanent bond.
3.2 Product Function
Applied permanent protective coating for ceramic and porcelain tiles & grout and other vitreous surfaces to reduce maintenance and cleaning and eliminate staining.
3.3 Product Attributes
- Works on new or existing tiles & grout and other vitreous surfaces (polished porcelain, toilets, basins & baths).
- Once only application: permanently bonds to the surface
- Protects against the corrosive effects of hard water, soap scum, limescale, calcium, mineral deposits and chemicals
- Coating is UV stable
- Maintenance time is significantly reduced.

3.4 Weather and UV
EnduroShield for Tiles and Grout has been cycled through 1000 cycles of washing by a mild detergent and water solution with minimal or no change in performance. This test equilibrates to washing the tiles 50 times per year for 10 years. It’s resistance to UV show similar results to EnduroShield for Glass which has been exposed to approximately 10,000 hours with minimal or no change to it properties.
3.5 Adhesion to Substrate
EnduroShield is not a traditional coating that sits on the vitreous surface, but chemically bonds, becoming a permanent extension to the surface.
4 APPLICATION
4.1 Application Method
Applied in factory or institu on site by trained, approved and certified applicator.
4.2 Rate of Application
Minimum 22ml per/m2
4.3 Applied Thickness
Less than 1 micron
4.4 Approved Application
Product must be applied by an applicator trained, approved and certified by PCT Global Pty Ltd.
5 WARRANTY
5.1 Warranty
3 years on new vitreous surfaces when applied by Approved Applicator in accordance with Manufacturers instructions and recommendations.
